A consumer cleaning products manufacturer in Florida needed to ensure correct positioning of bottles inside of their filler. We installed a vision system to detect the position of the bottles and designed a custom enclosure to protect the camera from the harsh chemical environment.
This state-of-the-art camera samples and analyzes photos in milliseconds and automatically stops the filler when a bottle is out of position. The operator simply repositions the bottle and restarts the filler, saving time that would otherwise be lost to cleaning up a crash, saving spilled/wasted product, and saving machine deterioration from chemical exposure.
